|Bringing the Arts to Youth...and Youth to the Arts!|
You're Invited to our 4th Annual
April 5, 2016
AYER, MA: How wonderful it is to speak of another successful ArtNight exhibit with SpringHill Suites! The Nashoba Valley enjoys such a wealth of artistic talent in our schools, and both SpringHill and ArtsNashoba are excited to be able to offer up this opportunity to shine a spotlight on as many students as we can! In 2016, we took things one step further by including regional Art teachers and artisans to the previously offered student works. What a treat it was!
Exhibiting in 2016 were Ayer Shirley Regional High School, Ayer Shirley Regional Middle School, Lura White Elementary School, Immaculate Heart of Mary School (Harvard), Notre Dame Academy (Tyngsboro), as well as students Grace, Suka and Kate Floyd (Westford), Chris and Stephen Govang (Ayer), Shaunessy Straitiff (Shirley), Elsa and Aya Schultz, Marie Quintanar and Jack Doty of the Nashoba Brooks School in Concord, Anna Rimkus (Groton), Jeremy Leisure (Devens) and Valerie Preslavska (Shirley); and adults Darcy Shultz, Donna Dawson, Gail Somers Sun, Nancy French, Rachelle Vachon and Donna Fluhr.
Wonderful refreshments (such a beautiful spread!) including "ice-cream made on the spot" by Chef Jim Yocum, were provided by the SpringHill Suites staff. An entertainment was offered by many young musicians from local schools.
Originally established by ArtsNashoba, ArtNight is now part of Marriott’s ‘Save Art Campaign,’ meant to corporately support and encourage school art programs at the community level. Through this event, it is SpringHill Suites' hope to encourage and build the arts in the Nashoba Valley region.
See you in 2017!
