STEVE BERGMAN: Musical Director: Disney's Beauty and the Beast (New Bedford Festival Theatre), [title of show] (Acme Theater Productions – DASH Award), Spring Awakening (Fudge Theatre – IRNE award),  Parade, Assassins (Fudge Theatre – IRNE nominations) The Add1ng Mach1ne (Speakeasy – IRNE nomination), Annie, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Wheelock Family Theatre), Das Barbecu (New Repertory Theatre), Forum (American Stage Festival), the New England premieres of The Gig and When Pigs Fly (Lyric Stage Company), Personals, Tomfoolery (Actors Playhouse) and the world premiere of The Orphan Queen (Jewish Theatre of New England). Keyboardist: Nunsense Jamboree (national tour with Georgia Engel, CD/DVD with Vicki Lawrence), as well as national tours of Sunday in the Park with George, Dreamgirls, Guys and Dolls and Les Miserables.

As a composer, his musicals include Reigning Cats and Dogs (winner of the 2015 Jackie White Memorial National Children’s Theater Award), Animal Farm, The Curse of the Bambino (Lyric Stage Company of Boston, CD available at, Four Kisses, Jack the Ripper: the Whitechapel Musical (Boston Center of the Arts), Comedy of Errors, and the new musical, Mairi’s Wedding.

Published plays: History (Brooklyn Publishers Winner in the 15-Minute category of the Sonoma County (CA) Rep's New Drama Works Scripts Competition (2003), At the Buzzer, Rosie and the Teddy Bear, and Critics Carnival (Brooklyn Publishers), The Guy Chair, Grieving Process and Cutting the Leash (JAC Publishing) and Have a Seat, Please and Marvin and Julius (published by Heuer Publishing).. Mr. Bergman is a member of Theatre Communications Group and The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., and teaches Drama and Music for the Littleton (MA) Public Schools, as well as Middlesex School Summer Arts where he has  fulfilled the role of Musical Director for over 15 shows, including Footloose, Wonderful Town, West Side Story, State Fair, The Little Mermaid, Urinetown, Les Miserables and School House Rock.
